Install the Browser Extension
The extension isn't in the Chrome Web Store yet, so for now you add it manually. It takes about a minute — just follow the steps. Works in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
Download & unzip
Click the download button above. Then unzip the file: right-click it → Extract All (Windows) or double-click it (Mac). You'll get a folder named AI-Detector-extension.
Open Chrome's extensions page
In Chrome's address bar, type chrome://extensions and press Enter.
Turn on Developer mode
Find the Developer mode switch in the top-right corner and turn it ON.
Load the extension
Click Load unpacked (top-left), then select the AI-Detector-extension folder you unzipped. Pick the folder itself, not a file inside it.
Pin it and start using it
The 🛡️ shield icon appears in your toolbar (click the puzzle-piece icon to pin it). Open a site like X, Reddit, Facebook, LinkedIn or YouTube, click the icon, and run a check. Sign in with the same account you create on this website.
